The Bath Taps into Science Festival is a week-long event (10-17 March 2018) consisting of an education programme, targeted at schools, and a public programme, targeted at families and adults. The aim of the festival is to engage and enthuse schools and the public with Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.
There will be a large programme of events throughout the week (lectures, talks, discussions) as well as a launch event on 10 March, the Schools Science Fair on 16 March and the Family Science Fair on 17 March.
The festival organisers are looking for enthusiastic, friendly volunteers to help during the week - could you help? You will be part of the team and you’ll get to gain experience of large events and go behind the scenes to see how it all works. You don't have to be a scientist or engineer to volunteer, but you may have a better experience if you have an interest or involvement in science or engineering or you would like to see how large events are organised and run.
