Volunteers needed to sort and distribute crockery and kitchenware

11th July 2017 - Published Date

We are looking for a few volunteers who can spare a couple of hours to help sort and distribute some unwanted crockery and kitchenware items at the University of Bath on 20 July.

Each year the University of Bath encourages students that are moving out of university-owned accommodation to donate unwanted items for reuse by local community and voluntary groups and charities, rather than disposing of them. An open garage event has been organised to redistribute the donations of crockery and kitchenware. The organisations that benefit from these donations make use of them in all sorts of ways; for instance for food and cooking initiatives, arts & crafts or for use in children’s sand pits and mud kitchens!

You don’t need to give up the whole day, a few hours help would be much appreciated. Here are some FAQs about volunteering for this initiative: Click here to download 'Student kitchenware donation event QA.doc' [113kb]
